What's Included:

Day 1, Monday 12th August
Arrive at Chateau Montfort from 17:00, relax after your journey, unpack and enjoy some tea and freshly baked cake in the garden. 19:00 Welcome drinks. Get to know your fellow adventurers before a candlelit 3 course dinner including wine pairing.

Day 2, Tuesday 13th August
7:30am For all those spritely early risers, join Isobel by the pool and limber up those market shopping muscles with some yoga.
8:30 continental breakfast.
9:30 depart for the mediaeval market town of Orthez where we will pick up some fresh ingredients for lunch, visit a beret manufacturer as well as a basque linen shop, famous for its striped tablecloths and napery.
12:30 depart Orthez and return to Chateau Montfort for a leisurely garden lunch, prepared with seasonal ingredients from the market and washed down with a glass or two of local Jurancon white wine.
14:30 to 18:30 An afternoon at your leisure. Relax and be soothed by the sounds of nature either beside the pool or by the river. Visit the local villages of Navarrenx & Sauveterre de Béarn or take a leisurely stroll through the countryside.
18:30 wine degustation on the terrace. Sample three of our best local wines and familiarise yourself with a selection of local sheep's cheese and charcuterie before making your way to the charming village of Laas for a delicious three-course meal at our local Auberge de la Fontaine.

Day 3, Wednesday 14th August
8:30 Continental Breakfast 
9:30 depart to Porte-de-Lanne Antique Market
( a picnic lunch will be provided so you can spend the day shopping at your leisure and return at a time that suits you)
For those who return before pre-dinner drinks, afternoon tea will be served in the garden. Please let us know one hour in advance and we can turn on the sauna in time for your arrival.
19:00 Apréo on the terrace at Chateau Montfort, prior to a three-course wine-matched dinner.

Day 4, Thursday 15th August
8:00 yoga by the pool, 9:00 Continental Breakfast
10:00 depart for Sallies de Béarn market
13:00 farewell lunch at Chateau Montfort before departure

Pricing
Price is per person and includes all meals, beverages, activities and accommodation with a shared bathroom at Chateau Montfort. All rooms have the possibility of twin sharing if you are travelling with a friend or partner. Travel to and from Chateau Montfort, including all outings, is not included. We suggest guests hire a car on arrival at their chosen airport. If you prefer a single room with a private bathroom we can arrange accommodation for you at a local auberge nearby.
